Jaume Roures has told Catalan radio that he would like to see a 12:00 kick-off in Barcelona and Real Madrid's first meeting of the coming season.
The president of Mediapro has told Catalan radio that he would like to see a lunchtime kick-off in the opening Clásico of the coming season, which begins on 17 August.
The 2013/14 La Liga fixture list pits Barcelona and Real Madrid against each other for the first time on the weekend of 26-27 October. Jaume Roures told ‘RAC1’: “I would like the match between Barcelona and Real Madrid to be played at 12:00. It should be more common.”
Admitting that the selection of kick-off times is out of his power, Roures continued: “La Liga has problems with its presence in Asia; that’s why the best time for these games would be between 12:00 and 16:00.”
