Indignation in Chicago as Messi disappears

The Argentinean didn’t show up after a charity match to meet the fans who had paid for VIP tickets.

Fans in Chicago who paid 2,500 dollars to spend at least 30 seconds with Leo Messi were left angry and disappointed when all they received was a plastic ball and a shirt with a printed signature. 65 people had paid for VIP tickets to watch the Barcelona star and then meet him after a charity match “Messi and friends v the Rest of the World”, but the Argentinean was substituted in the 68th minute and left the stadium straight away to catch a flight to Spain, for his holidays in Ibiza. He also failed to speak to the fans before the game, or at half time.
